"Ongoing Struggles Accessing Support for Mental…"

I appreciate the work the surgery does under pressure, but I’ve found it very difficult to access adequate support for my mental health needs. Despite trying to reach out, I’ve felt that my concerns were not always taken seriously, even when the situation became quite distressing.

The waiting times for treatment or referral have been extremely long—several months in my case—which has had a real impact on my well-being. While I understand that services are under strain, I do wish there were clearer communication or interim support available during the wait.

I’m sharing this in the hope that it might help improve the experience for others in similar situations.
