About: Outpatients Department / Fracture Clinic Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department University Hospital Wishaw / Theatres, Recovery & Anaesthetics University Hospital Wishaw / Trauma and Orthopaedics (14- 16)

(as a service user),

Our wee girl fell at the park and badly broke her arm a couple of Saturdays ago while staying with friends.

We just wanted to thank the Dr and Nurse at Monklands A&E, the paramedics for transporting us to Wishaw general all the staff on Ward 20 at Wishaw,  the lovely female surgeon and the theatre staff for looking after her.

She got her cast changed last week at Monklands and the plaster room team and radiographers were great as well with her. Thank you all for looking after her!

Hi BCparent,

I'm really sorry to hear about your daughter's fall recently and her broken arm. That must have been really painful for her but I'm pleased to see that she was so well looked after by all the NHS staff who cared for her.

Thanks very much for taking the time to write in, your kind comments will be much appreciated by our staff.

Glad to see that she has now had her cast off and on the mend.
