"Waited 2 weeks no call "

I called the surgery to ask for a doctors call and sick note . Told by receptionist that the next appointment for a doctors call was in 2 weeks . That was fine told work I was off and that would the sick note would follow after I had a conversation with the doctor . Two weeks went by callled up to check I was getting a call to then confirm they were calling later . Waited in all day and sat by the phone for call . Time came I go a message to say I recieved my sick note . No call !!! I was rather disappointed that the doctor could not give me a call considering on the sick note it said depression and anxiety . How do they not know I might have needed more time off or support on medication or something else ? Also why if they can issue a doctors note without speaking to me why I couldn’t have had it 2 weeks before . Just angry and frustrated with the whole thing . As of now I feel let down by all concerned .
