Needed to go to main x-ray dept, so found the closest disabled parking was right outside A & E. Got a space and went in. Only to be told by reception that I couldn't go through the doors where the x-ray dept was. Not allowed anymore, only exit from there. Was told I'd have to go to the multi story and walk half a mile back to where I just came from. I was in agony when I finally arrived. Then, of course, I had to walk all the way back. I have to go to the x-ray dept again tomorrow and the thought terrified me. No I can't get a porter as they start and stop at the hospital doors, they don't go to the multi story or any carpark. I have a walker as well which doesn't really help.
"No thought for disabled people."
