"Excellent receptionist care but Anima online system doesn’t work"

I tried to use the new online appointment finding system before 10am on Friday, only to find no requests for appointments can be made  until Monday. I am not talking about a wait for an appointment, we all understand why that happens, I’m saying we cannot even now ASK for an appointment until Monday. This just piles frustration and a sense of wasted time with nothing achieved, on to the understandable wait for the actual appointment. The receptionist was polite and caring - I think our Practice receptionists are always excellent - but explained that you can only guarantee access to the Anima system first thing in the morning. Thus the new system is a lot worse, for patients, than the old one where we came in person at 8 am and could guarantee some level of response from a human being who could possibly gauge  our need. Now we are faced with a blank impenetrable wall, as if we do not exist. We are not allowed to help ourselves by moving our medical needs forward. I think this enforced helplessness and time wasting probably imperils our emotional and mental health. Have you asked for patient feedback on the new system?
