About: Whiteabbey Hospital / Pre-Assessment Unit

(as a relative),

I accompanied my mum to a pre-assessment appointment in Whiteabbey Hospital with Consultant Anaesthetist Dr Latif. 

Dr Latif had a really lovely manner and shared some rather difficult news in a very open and honest yet compassionate way.  A bit of humour during the appointment too really helped to put mum at ease.  

The appointment was also run well to time and very efficient in terms of completing the pre op checks and then seeing the consultant.

Thank you to Dr Latif and the rest of the team in pre assessment.

Thank you for your kind comments on Dr Latif who is a highly valued member of our team. I am glad that you found the appointment with him helpful and informative. Dr Latif and all the staff work very hard to ensure that each patients experience is personal to them.

I can appreciate that Its not easy to hear difficult news so thank you so much for taking the time to give such positive feedback at a time when I’m sure it has been very difficult for you and your mum.
