"Birth of my children"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I have given birth to both my children in the RAH maternity, my first child in 2022 (Covid times) and my second child May 2025. I cannot praise the staff highly enough for the help and support they showed towards my family and I during pregnancy (attended triage a few times for checks), labour and the aftercare.

The girls showed me such care and compassion during labour and I could not have done it without them. They helped and guided me through the whole process whilst keeping me calm and focused. By the end of each labour I genuinely felt like I had made friends with the staff and felt so grateful for the support they showed towards me.

The midwives and hearing specialists for the baby and I on the labour ward were fantastic too. They could not have been more caring and kind towards me and my baby- a huge thank you to you all!
