"All the staff are a credit to NHS Scotland"

About: Gartnavel General Hospital / Dental Service Gartnavel Royal Hospital / Mental Health

(as a service user),

I was very fortunate to have had an appointment recently which was brought forward from a later appointment given to me while I was a patient in Gartnavel Royal Hospital Timbury Ward. The Dental Department staff compromising of Lindsay, Helen and Emily were very caring, friendly, reassuring and professional and they took a dental appointment which was very concerning for me and transformed it into a very pleasant and informative experience. Equally the staff at Gartnavel Royal Hospital Timbury Ward ( too many to mention by name ) were superb in their care and concern for my health. To summarise all the staff from the dentists, doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, student nurses and domestic staff in the wards are a credit to NHS Scotland.

Dear John R

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind and thoughtful feedback. I was truly delighted to hear that your experience with both the Dental Department and the team at Timbury Ward was such a positive one.

Lindsay, Helen, and Emily will be especially pleased to know that their care and professionalism helped make your dental appointment a reassuring and informative experience. It’s always encouraging to hear when our staff are able to ease patients’ concerns and provide such compassionate support and I will be sure to pass your feedback on them.

Every member of our Public Dental Service team is committed to delivering the highest standard of care, and your words affirm the value of their dedication.

Thank you again for your generous feedback. We wish you all the very best in your continued recovery and wellbeing.

My pleasure Catherine.

My appointment with the Ladies was excellent as regards assuring me of what was involved in both the Treatment and after Care of my Teeth and Gums and not forgetting their very relaxing and comforting manner during the Examination. All the Ladies were a Credit to the Dental Department.
