"Put me at ease right from the start"

About: Trauma & orthopaedics / Orthopaedic National Treatment Centre

(as the patient),

I had a half knee replacement surgery back in February this year at the National Treatment Centre in Kirkaldy.

From the Pre-assessment to my after-care I cannot praise everyone involved highly enough. Mr Akhtar and his team were very reassuring and put me at ease right from the start.

Since my surgery i am now pain free and well the way to full recovery, once again thank you to everyone.

Dear Cruickness,

My name is Aileen and I am the Charge Nurse within the National Treatment inpatient ward. Thank for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay within the NTC in February.

It is wonderful to read the high praise for all the staff involved in your care from pre assessment to your aftercare.

Having an operation can be a very scary time for patients and glad to learn that you felt that Mr Akhtar was reassuring and put you at ease.

All the staff wish you the very best with your ongoing recovery and lovely to read you are now pain free!

Best Wishes,

Aileen
