"Knew their job and did it quickly and efficiently"

About: Integrated Community Services Service Delivery Unit / Malvern Neighbourhood Team

(as a relative),

My husband had a fall during which he damaged his hand badly (lots of  bleeding). Firstly the falls team came and got him up (at  11 pm). They alerted the neighbourhood watch team who sent a district nurse . She came twice  during the  first night before  setting up a  further visits  by district nurse. team.  They came several times/week for about 3  weeks to clean and dress the  wound until he was sufficiently recovered to go to his GPs nurse for more treatment. We had a different nurse every visit (we did get repeat eventually) .Without exception they knew their job and did it  quickly  and efficiently,  they were extremely courteous and friendly and I cannot speak too highly of them. They also kept our GP practice informed of what was going on and arranged for  GP to visit to prescribe an antibiotic when necessary.

Thank you for this great feedback, which I will also share with our evening and nights nursing team. it was a pleasure to support your husband and I am pleased that you did get the same nurse attend to his needs for a few visits.
