"The care and compassion received was second to none"

About: Borders General Hospital / Borders Urgent Care Centre Borders General Hospital / Paediatrics (Ward 15)

(as a relative),

My daughter ended up in BECS with suspected appendicitis.  From the moment we entered BECS the care and compassion received was second to none.

Lorraine and Lynsey in BECS, surgical team and the lovely nurses in Ward 15.

They were all so kind, compassionate and completely dedicated to their roles.

As a parent I felt completely kept in the loop and reassured throughout the whole experience.

Thank you Worjd86 for taking the time to feed back to us.

I'm so sorry to hear that your daughter was unwell - it can be a very daunting time for both her as well as yourself as a parent.

It is lovely to hear that you felt the care she received was of such a high standard, but also lovely to hear you have been provided with the information and reassurance you require as a mum - this is just as important.

I hope she has recovered well.

Kind Regards

Claire
