"I can’t thank the whole team enough"

I have been discharged home from Crosshouse following Laparotomy and Hernia Repair. From going in the doors at Day surgery my surgeon, anaesthetist, theatre team and ward staff showed me care and compassion but most importantly listened to me as their patient. 

My 5 night admission was supported by the excellent members of staff, housekeeping staff who kept me smiling, student nurse Leah for her words of encouragement and in particular nurses Anne and Sandra who offered me that support and reassurance when it was needed the most. I can’t thank the whole team enough.
