"Very compassionate, caring, and patient"

I was recently admitted to the Medical HDU in Ninewells Hospital with pneumonia. I have no memory of my first day there as I was quite poorly.  The staff on the ward the following day were absolutely incredible and couldn't do enough to help me and make my stay as comfortable as possible.  Each shift that came on were equally as skilled and dedicated and paid attention to every detail.  They were all very compassionate, caring, and patient. It was a harrowing experience but made bearable by the kindness of every single staff member, who encouraged me daily and reassured me of my progress towards recovery.  I will be forever grateful to them 💓.

Dear Elizabeth614,

I want to thank you for taking the time to provide feedback, after your recent stay with us in the Medical High Dependency Unit.

It is reassuring to hear that you have had such a positive experience, despite it being such a difficult time for you

I have shared your kind words with all members of the ward team.

Kind Regards

Laura Finnegan
