About: Milton Keynes Hospital

Sent to A and E by gp with v high bp. Triage sent me to lovely new Maple Unit where I was seen immediately. Series of tests done and then inevitable wait for results and see dr. All staff without exception were professional, warm and caring. It was a long wait, but after 4 hours sandwiches, hot drinks and biscuits appeared! Very welcome. Dr left me with a clear explanation of results and medication for that night. It felt like a unit that was running efficiently and caringly and I was very grateful to have such a good experience at a scary time. Warmest thanks to everyone.
