Mum has just come to the end of a 16-day stay in C3. The level of care she has received, and the compassion and empathy shown to us as a family, for the duration of her stay has been outstanding. The warmth, friendliness and professional approach of all staff has been second to none.
However, what has struck me most is how the staff truly cared for mum, and within a couple of days they clearly had gotten to know mum as a person. Each time I left mum, I felt like she was in safe hands, which is priceless.
I would like to mention a few people in particular, who gone above and beyond.
Beverly -thank you for taking the time to chat to mum and make her feel safe.
Sr Nuala - thank you for taking the time to explain things to us, and ensuring we could talk to mum's consultants.
Nurse Anne - for being a general legend, and showing such passion for her job and care for her colleagues.
Nurse Aisling and
Nurse Alan - for taking such great care of mum.
The NHS at its best.
