"The group work was very helpful"

I attended the IY parenting group course hoping to gain skills to communicate and understand the behaviours of my grandchildren. To remind me how to be a child again so I can adapt and gain skills to cope with  different challenging behaviour. This would enhance and give me different strategies to grow with my grandchildren.

The group work was very helpful, as each person could learn and take things that worked with them and incorporated in my owe parening methods.

The group leaders were very easy to talk to and encourage. They always gave very positive feedback to each individual and good advice when trying to work out, th strategies that worked for them. This course has enhanced my relationship with each of  my grandchildren. I feel more confident in dealing with challenges situation and found out how to have fun even when our day dosent go to plain. 

I can honestly say I have learnt a lot and enjoyed every part of the course. Would like to participate in more
