"Birth experience"

I recently gave birth in the labour ward at the BGH. I had an amazing midwife called Helena who made me feel at ease the whole time I was in labour. She made sure that I was comfortable with managing my pain and made my birthing experience a whole lot easier. She eventually offered me the opportunity to try the birthing pool which in the end brought on my labour very quickly and my baby boy made his appearance to the world.
