"A tremendous amount of support"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Neonatal Unit

(as the patient),

There are no amount of words or thanks we could ever say that would be enough to show how grateful we are for everything you all did for us during our time in the NICU.  Our time spent in the unit, although a scary and uncertain journey, was one that was filled with laughter and a tremendous amount of support.  Every member of staff we encountered welcomed us with a smile, an ear to listen or a shoulder to lean on.  No question was not answered and our worries were always eased.  It takes a really special person to work in neonatal and do the jobs you all do, and every single one of you there is an amazing person.  Our boys are thriving and it's all thanks to you wonderful people.  Angels sent from above with wings we just can't see!

Good afternoon soilen83

Spending time in hospital and in Neonatal can bring such a range of emotions during a difficult time and it is pleasing to read that we supported you on that journey as we shared information with you on the progress the boys were making in a way that reduced your anxiety, A little bit of laughter is a good medicine to help you feel at ease during your stay in the unit!

Thank you for taking the time to share your kind comments

We hope all is going well at home and the boys are thriving

Regards

Una Toland

Thank you so much for your lovely kind words and for sharing your experience with us. The team in Neonatal are fantastic and so focused on all the babies and parents/cares in their care. I am glad you were supported through your boy's journey so early in their little lives and were kept up to date at all times.

I am delighted to hear that the boys are doing well and I wish them continued good health.

Best Wishes

Bernie McGibbon
