After surgery there was a lot of things I couldn’t do at first. But was referred to cardiac rehabilitation team.
First saw nurse & then physiotherapist. By then I was able to do more like lifting heavier things which was good. I increased my walking & attended gym, which I had to stop for nine months prior to surgery, so it was good to get back to it. But worried in case I would overdo it.
The physio team created a programme for me & watch & gave me encouragement. So confidence increased & was able while on programme go back to my usual gym once a week which was good.
So it was a good all round experience. It will allow be to move forward with the exercise myself to have a healthier lifestyle which I enjoy
