"I really do feel better"

About: Gartnavel General Hospital / Pulmonary Rehabilitation

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

When I found out I was on the waiting list for Pulmonary Rehabilitation I felt positive and thought it would only do me good! It took me a couple of weeks at the classes (and doing exercises at home) to get the hang of things, especially arm punches! I really do feel better on course completion, it's definitely made a difference. the only thing I would say is we were all at different stages so different levels would be better? Instructors were great, Thank you

Dear monoceronsnf47

Thank you for providing such positive feedback following your recent attendance at Pulmonary Rehabilitation at GGH.

It is great to hear that you have benefitted from completing the programme and for persevering with the exercises until you got them just right. Pulmonary rehab plays such an important role in the management of lung disease and the team strive to deliver the highest quality of programme to ensure our patient's get the most from it. The team will be thrilled to hear your feedback.

Thanks for raising the point of different levels. We are currently piloting this at the moment and we hope to be able to deliver this across all our areas in the near future.

Take care
