"Dod not know about Goldie Leigh "Bexley Great…"

My wife (aged 79) had a fall on the stairs, and having chonic arthritus in bothe her knees was unable to get up, and I ( her husband with a heart condition) was unable to her get up, but with the help of our neighbours we managed, a 999 call was made and she was admitted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Woolwich.

After 8 days she was discharged after having Xrays and scans on her legs and hips, only to find that she needs the replacement of one hip joint and both knee joints. She was evetualy transported home by ambulance as she was unable to walk.

Since then we have been contacted by district nurses, Occupational therapists , Physical therapists giving advice and also recomending treatment for the future, along with being given nesessary disabled persons equipment to make life a little easyer to cope.

Many thanks Goldie Leigh.

Did not know about you till now.
