"I felt so lucky to have her"

About: Vale of Leven General Hospital / Day Surgery Unit

(as the patient),

Cataract removal and stent operation. Nurse Lorna put me completely at ease.

She made the whole admin and initial medical part of the process. Such an unexpected easy and pleasant experience. I have various other issues and with her I felt so relaxed.

I felt so lucky to have her as my nurse and cannot thank her enough for her pleasant lighthearted manner and way in which she made me feel so at ease and relaxed both pre and post operation.

Many thanks Lorna for such a brilliant experience.

Dear Scutumjp66,

Thank you so much for your kind and positive feedback. We do appreciate feedback as it allows us to reflect on our practice. We are very pleased you had a 'brilliant experience' both pre and post op.

I have shared your feedback with Lorna who was delighted with your kind words and enjoyed sharing your sense of humour during your stay with us.

We do hope you recover well following your cataract removal and stent procedure.

Many thanks again for taking the time out of your day to post this.

Kind regards

Christine Kilday (Senior Charge Nurse)
