"No instructions on where to find the sexual health area"

About: Sexual Health Services - Telford and Wrekin (Open Clinic)

(as a service user),

I arrived at the Wellington clinic and went to the reception at the practice to be told that the sexual health clinic was being delivered in a different building and I needed to go outside and turn right and go in the next door which I proceeded to do.

There is no clear signage to say sexual health is there or where to go? There is no one in the area to ask so I ended up wandering around the building hoping to find someone or hear a voice that I could ask where to go? Could we have some signage put up so people do not get lost?

This obviously made me 10 minutes late for my appointment and also the lady who came in after me was also not sure where to find the clinic.

I am so sorry that you struggled to find our service when you attended your appointment at the Wellington clinic.

This is certainly not what we want for our service users.

I will discuss this with the landlords of the Wellington premise to look at whether we can add further signage to avoid this happening in the future.

Many thanks for raising this with us.

Kind regards,

Jo Meikle
