"Waiting for orthopaedic care but lacking information"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Trauma and Orthopaedics (14- 16)

(as the patient),

I was added to the orthopaedic waiting list last year. This seems such a long time ago.

I can’t seem to find any information on who to speak to regarding my position now on the list, my situation has got so difficult that I now have a stairlift fitted.

Can anyone help me find out my position on the waiting list? An email would be good too.

Dear Costalot01,

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Wishaw, Trauma and Orthopaedics.

I am sorry to hear that you were added to the waiting list and have been waiting for a long time with no update. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for you as you are unable to get in touch with someone to find out more details on where you are in the list.

Please could you contact Patient Affairs who will be able to investigate your concern and provide a personal response?

Best Wishes,

Jenni
