"Everyone was so helpful and friendly"

About: Cloughreagh House

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I got on great here in Cloughreagh House, everyone was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I have to thank everyone involved in my care for the patience you showed and the good humour which resulted in a happy atmosphere.

I was here before a couple of years ago and I did not hesitate when Cloughreagh House was suggested to me in the hospital, I was happy to come back and I  would stay longer if I could.

I have made amazing progress under the guidance of the physio/ O T who gave me great advice and encouragement.  Due to their skills I am up and mobile again and I will follow on with the exercises when I go home.

I think Cloughreagh House is a great place and I would highly recommend it to anyone.  I am going to miss the company, I loved chatting to others in the dining room hearing their stories and finding common interests.  My 2 weeks in Cloughreagh House flew by but I am glad to be going home and so happy with the progress I have made.

Thank you very much for sharing your story on care Opinion and I am pleased that you have had such positive experiences here and had no hesitation to return. We appreciate all the feedback we get as it helps us to provide effectively for our Service users and to make improvements were necessary.

The staff in Cloughreagh House strive to bring each of our service users an experience which is person- centred and unique to them. We work in partnership with the rehab team to achieve positive outcomes for our Service Users.

You mentioned the companionship and we feel the social aspect of the service is an important element of recovery, improves mood and is beneficial to the well being of our service users.

I would like to thank you again for contributing your story, I wish you continued good health and I am glad that coming to Cloughreagh House was beneficial to recovery.

Kind Regards
