"Poor Service from Receptionist"

About: The Banks Surgery

(as a service user),

Having been a patient at this surgery for the last 35 years and and having nothing but praise for the Surgery - isn't it amazing how 1 incident can do so much damage to the reputation of a place.

Arrived for an appointment but couldn't park due to an elderly lady having fallen in the car park, so i had to park elsewhere. After sitting in the current 4-way traffic light system on the Banks and then finding parking and getting back into the Doctors Surgery, the receptionist then comes back from helping the lady in the Car Park and starts dealing with the queue waiting at reception and proceeds to rudely tell me i'm late and my appointment has been cancelled and marked as DNA (Did Not Attend?). Despite explaining the situation and the fact that their clock is, and has always been, 5 minutes fast (is this done on purpose to catch patients out?) i was told 3 times that I'd been marked as DNA.

After leaving, and then making a call to speak to a Manager, the same receptionist answers the phone and asks for my name and then proceeds to put the phone down on me. Rude, Rude, Rude from start to finish - i suggest they are sent on some sort of training course. It's peoples lives and health they are dealing with (why else would i be attending a Doctors appointment?).
