"Call cancelled quickly"

About: Okehampton Community Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as a service user),

I was disappointed that my phone appointment didn't happen, as whoever called me cancelled the call so quickly that I didn’t get there in time (I was in the same room as the phone). As the number is withheld there was nothing I could do. Fortunately my condition is stable and I need no further action, but I feel sorry for anyone where this is not the case.

I will look into this with the Administration and Clinical teams to identify what happened and if we need to change our processes to make sure service users are called a couple of times throughout the clinic to have the best chance of reaching you.
