"The staff were amazing"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Pulmonary Rehabilitation

(as a service user),

After my diagnosis of COPD I was referred to pulmonary rehabilitation. I did not know what to expect or about my condition. I was assessed and started an 8 week course of exercise and education. The staff were amazing and very patient. During the course we were told about our condition and how to manage it. Like a lot of people I had been using my inhalers wrong, the staff explained how to use them correctly. I have now finished my course and feel more in control.

Dear Donna278

Thank you for your great feedback following your recent attendance at the Pulmonary Rehab classes at the QEUH.

It's great to hear such a positive outcome and you feel you have more control over your lung disease now. The educational aspects of the programme are so important in ensuring you have as much knowledge and understanding of the management of symptoms you can/may experience.

The team will be delighted with your feedback as they strive to deliver the highest quality standard of rehab and I will be sure to show them this.

We wish you well for the future.

Kind Regards

Fiona Galbraith
