"Community Rehabilitation Team"

I broke my ankle in February 2025 and I can’t thank the rehabilitation team enough for what they have done for me. They have went over and above in their care. 

I found Gillian the occupational therapist is so helpful, caring and supportive. She makes you feel comfortable in her presence in your own home and can’t do enough for you. She also makes sure you have all the aids you require to assist you in your recovery. 

The Physiotherapist Finola is very thorough in her approach in showing you the exercises to help and doesn’t push you too far. She gives you photograph exercises to do at home which is great so you can carry on with your physio rehab.  

I also had the Rehabilitation Assistant Angela who was only a phone call away if you needed to change any appointments with your OT or Physio. Angela also would give you a phone call to see how you were getting on which was very reassuring. 

A totally excellent team that I really appreciated and couldn’t have done without.
