"Plain talking, honest and supportive"

About: Neurodiversity Services / Doncaster ADHD team

(as a service user),

I have had nothing but amazing support from Shelley and the team at RDASH. From being diagnosed, I have had consistent, clear and compassionate support from Shelley. She is plain talking, honest, supportive, understanding and also helps manage expectations. She has helped me to adjust to my diagnosis, accept it and know that medication is not the be all and end all, and that knowledge and understanding comes first.

Hi I am Jo the Manager for the Team. Firstly thank you for taking the time to complete the care opinion form. Your feedback is really important to us as it allows the practitioners in the team to reflect upon their practices in regard to supporting patients through their journey with the service. I will be sure to pass on your lovely comments to Shelley who I know will be appreciative to receive them. We do recognise that a patient journey can be quite emotive for patients hence why we advocate a supportive, empathic caring and safe approach towards our patients.
