"What a fantastic team from start to finish"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Day Surgery Unit

(as the patient),

I had to have the plates removed from my wrist recently.  I had the original surgery on my wrist last June.  As was the case last year the care and attention I received was exemplary.  All the staff were so professional and caring.  The anaesthetist took the time to explain what would happen and when I told him I had been very sick last year with the GA assured me he would do his best to make sure that didn't happen this time.  The theatre state were great - good banter before I went to sleep!!!

Special mention to Dean on the ward who looked after me - nothing was too much trouble.  My discharge was easy and they explained everything clearly.

Special thanks also to Mr Molyneaux and the surgical team too.

What a fantastic team from start to finish

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. The value of a bit of friendly banter can never be underestimated!

I will make sure that your feedback is shared with the team in Day Surgery, who I know will be very grateful.

I hope you are doing well after your surgery and wishing you a speedy recovery!

With best wishes,

Shaun
