"a dangerous place to be."

About: The Maidstone Hospital

I was in 6 hours in aau/utc there was a patient there coughing and spluttering over everything and everyone. I caught a viral infection from her. which also affected the gut. Apart from a week plus, of a flu/covid type attack. I lost a stone in weight during the 19days of Diarrhoea. I also have a serious illness to contend with.

Why were we not protected from this patient. Why was this patient not given a mask or isolated.

This incident is a lack of basic medical care. It has been a trauma.

The staff were helpful. But someone should have taken control of the obvious dangerous situation. I am reluctant to put myself in that situation again. I am 79 years old.
