"A First class service from all staff"

About: Hospital at Home / Hospital at Home Wishaw Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

My wife collapsed at home. Attended by emergency ambulance service. My wife did not want to go to hospital. The paramedics went out of their way to organise home hospital care.

At all stages of her treatment we were continually updated on what was to happen next. She was attended by doctors from Wishaw General and received all the tests etc at home which she would have received at hospital and no waiting times.

The medical staff continued to update progress by telephone and visits, and also organised medicine at local pharmacy .At all times we were told what was happening next.

A First class service from all staff who attended my wife. Thank you.

Dear Davidng615,

Thank you for sharing your experience.

I am sorry to hear of your wife's illness. It must have been a very frightening time for you both. I am glad that the ambulance crew and hospital at home team were able to attend and treat your wife at home as she requested. This must have been very reassuring for you.

I hope your wife is recovering well.

Best Wishes,

Jenni
