About: The Highlands Practice

Symptoms for nearly 2 weeks.Has history of repeated strep throat,had difficulty in swallowing ,tonsils were enlarged,Temperature was normal as had paracetamol an hour ago,doctor advised for ear drops 🤪,didn’t even bothered to do a throat swab,had to go into ANE next night,seen by Gp commenced on antibiotics.problem solved

We are sorry to read that you have been having symptoms for nearly two weeks, and that during a consultation a throat swab was not taken and you were advised to start ear drops. As your feedback is anonymous we are unable to investigate this further and provide a more formal and detailed response. Additionally, we are sorry to hear that you had to visit accident and emergency due to your symptoms, but are pleased to read that you have been prescribe antibiotics.
