I've struggled with my mental health for over 10 years at this point, both due to personal, environmental, and familial issues. Eventually my mental-illnesses became the norm.
I was aware that they were unhealthy but I accepted it as what I would live with, but I decided to challenge my mindset as I've been getting nowhere in life.
I suffer with depression, anxiety, and some other issues.
At Inclusion Thurrock, I was assigned an amazing therapist that worked through some challenges with me, and guided me through using some cognitive behavioral therapy techniques which I will be using going forwards.
Having someone there to hold me accountable also helped me greatly, as it's all too easy to slip into bad habits.
Developing new habits takes some time, but I feel as if I've developed these new useful habits to an extent where I'm able to do it without another person holding me accountable.
Although I'm still tackling my mental health issues, I'm very happy with the work I've done with my therapist. I will be continuing my therapy with Inclusion Thurrock to tackle deeper issues.
