"Appointments "

About: Crompton Health Centre

I rang today to make an appointment to see a Dr and was told that an appointment with the chemist was available for my condition. I asked to see a Dr or nurse but was told that those appointments were for people who needed a Dr. I felt and still feel I need to see a Dr for my condition. Severely blocked and painful ears accompanied by neck pain and high blood pressure144/80 and dizziness. How can a receptionist be qualified to determine the severity of my condition?. Does the Chemist have access to my medical notes?

The practice staff are without question the best I have ever dealt with. I understand they have to follow protocol and have to pass on difficult decisions regarding patient access. Let's hope this doesn't lead to a serious situation.
