"Made a huge difference to my experience"

I work for the NHS and I know how valuable feedback is, especially when you come across care that goes above and beyond expectations, which is why I feel it is important to leave this feedback. 

I attended the evening clinic at Cumbernauld to have my coil removed. I was really nervous. 

I put off going to the clinic for quite a bit of time because of this. At my appointment I met the nurse Lyndsey. She immediately sensed my anxiety and instead of asking difficult questions straightaway, she was funny, upbeat and supportive in a way that felt effortless and  helped  me to feel relaxed. 

She then guided me through the process of removal, all while keeping a lighthearted, fun discussion that helped to distract me from the Procedure and the removal was a pain free experience. 

Even though everything went to plan, Lyndsey still took the time to call me afterwards to check everything was still OK, and it was. Thank you to Lyndsey, you made a huge difference to my experience.
