"Golden service"

About: Health and Justice / Health & Justice - West Mercia

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

My son was arrested and brought to the station. Then he was pending bail until the investigation was done. He's struggles with mental health, ASD, PTSD conditions and other trauma which has increased from the arrest.

Currently my son is still struggling as it's a bit of a process to get support. His mood is the same.

I would describe West Mercia Health and Justice Shropshire as Golden service. I wish I had something like this sooner. The support was so valuable, hitting the mark of what was needed. Having someone as well to chat on the phone and to talk to someone was really helpful. Louise pointed me in the right direction for more support. I do feel Health and Justice Outreach Shropshire should be able to keep clients open longer than 12 weeks for more check-ins. Even if just once a week.

Thank you for your feedback and I will take your suggestion of the service being extended over 12 weeks to our senior management team. I am really happy to receive such positive feedback for my staff. I wish you the very best in your families recovery and support.
