"Not happy"

About: The Aldergate Med. Pract.

I’ve used this practice my whole life, I rarely visit unless its serious and I need help.

I’ve visited the practice 4 times this year:

Twice because of my back going

Once because of a trapped nerve in my neck

And once because I have tonsil stones that are causing horrendous discomfort (I tried to sort it myself and have suffered for 5 weeks so far)

Everytime I have been to the practice I get seen my the same nurse, who doesn’t look like she wants to help me and certainly doesn’t act like it. I have been told that every time I’ve attended take paracetamol and ibuprofen, even though I’m taking it that’s all I can be offered

I left the practice in tears on Wednesday because I want help and I’m not getting it, I’m starting to feel like I’m making half the stuff up and it’s in my head as no one is taking me seriously.

So after 36 years of being at this practice, unfortunately this service has left me no other choice than to leave it and find another one.

I get that the NHS is struggling but to me made to feel this way isn’t on and we need to do better.
