"She felt loved there and that made everything ok for us"

About: Glenrothes Hospital / Rehabilitation & Recovery Victoria Hospital / Palliative Care and Hospice

(as a relative),

My mum was taken into hospital very unwell. She was transferred to Glenrothes community hospital from Kirkcaldy. She received amazing care across both places. I specifically want to mention the team in Ward 1 at Glenrothes though who had my mum for a few weeks.

It feels impossible to put into words what they did for my mum and my family in terms of the level of care she received. The empathy and love she felt during her stay made what was a very difficult time in her life one that actually gave her positive memories.

The staff made her feel like she had a home there and I think that is the highest praise I can offer. As a family we will never forget what every single person who came into contact with my mum did for her. She felt loved there and that made everything ok for us.
