"Made a very challenging day that little bit easier"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Day surgery

(as a service user),

My son was in ward 1B for day surgery.

He doesn’t cope well within hospital environments and I cannot fault the care, compassion, patience and complete understanding from all staff involved. It was a stressful and emotional day for not only my son but myself and the outstanding patient care from everyone was so reassuring and so appreciated!

A very special thanks to Sarah and Lorna, who both went above and beyond for my son and deserve the recognition! They definitely made a very challenging day that little bit easier.

Thank you to all!

Dear phasecf95

Thank you so much for your heartfelt feedback. I am truly grateful that you took the time to share your experience, and so pleased to hear that your son received the care and support he needed during what was clearly a very challenging day for both of you.

I understand how difficult hospital visits can be, especially for young patients who find the environment overwhelming. It’s incredibly reassuring to know that the Public Dental Service team’s compassion, patience, and understanding helped make the experience a little easier.

A special thank you for highlighting Sarah and Lorna—your kind words will mean so much to them, and I will be sure to pass you feedback onto them.

I would like to wish your son a smooth and speedy recovery after his dental treatment.

Best Wishes

Catherine
