"The team were very knowledgeable"

About: Omagh Primary Care Complex / Childrens Community Service

(as a service user),

I attended the Solid Start Weaning workshop held by the child health team from Omagh Primary Care Complex. I gained so much from this workshop. As a second time mum with 6 years between weaning I needed a refresher course and this workshop was brilliant.

The recipes and tips shared were useful and it was great to find everyday products that could be used in weaning without breaking the bank.  I was able to have my little one with me during the workshop which helped massively as my husband was at work. The team were very knowledgeable and I particularly liked the food quiz on what could and couldn't be used during weaning.

I hadn't realised how toxic honey could be to children under one year old so it was great to get this information.  All in all the workshop was positive and informative.
