"It was nice to see other patients in the class improve"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Pulmonary Rehabilitation

(as a service user),

the classes have been helpful. It was beneficial learning how to clear my chest with Phlegm using the technique I learned in class.

Only bit of constructive feedback is that I personally didn't feel there was enough time to rest in-between each exercise.

It was nice to see other patients in the class improve over the course of the weeks.

Dear februarych47

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback following your recent Pulmonary Rehabilitation course at Renfrew Leisure Centre.

Firstly, I am delighted to hear that the chest clearance techniques you were shown have been of benefit. By carrying out regular chest clearance can help to reduce your risk of chest infections so this is great to hear.

I am sorry you felt you did not have enough time to rest in between exercises. However as a team we are in the process of trying to develop our programme to allow for different levels of classes where longer rests may be required for some patients more than others. In the meantime, I will catch up with the team and reinforce that they ensure each patient has recovered before moving on.

I am also glad to hear that you could see your peer's in class improve as this is great motivation for all patients to complete the PR programme.

We wish you well for the future.

Kind Regards
