"A disappointing service"

About: Community Mental Health / Carrick ICMHT

(as other),

There was no compassion in the crisis team in CHMT. It was all about jumping through hoops rather than support, so I withdrew voluntarily. The lack of empathy sobered all my concerns sadly. The therapy side of the service was appalling, you genuinely could do it yourself quicker with a Google search and sit at home relaxing whilst doing it.

I believe the service is not fit for purpose, due to the poor restructuring decision. Which is a shame, because they are great as individuals. A cruel to be kind approach to someone who is scared is not on, and medical gaslighting is totally unacceptable.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and I am sorry you haven't had a positive experience of one of our services.

I have forwarded this to the Team Lead who will hopefully be able to provide you with a response.

You can contact the Patient Experience team by emailing cft.patientexperience@nhs.net.
