"The staff were friendly and caring"

About: Cameron Hospital / Recovery & rehabilitation

(as a relative),

My Mum spent a month in Balgonie Ward recovering from a broken hip and the care she received was excellent. The OTs, Physios and all the ward staff did a fantastic job of getting Mum back on her feet, ready to come home, and all showed her great care and compassion. The food was good, the staff were friendly and caring, as well as professional, and all kept her spirits up during a very difficult recovery.  They are very lucky to have an exceptionally friendly Activities Co-ordinator, Alana, who goes above and beyond to find ways to keep patients' spirits up. My Mum sends thanks to all the staff and wants to mention how much she appreciated their kindness to all the patients, especially the ladies in for a longer period.

Good Morning am20

Thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely, positive feedback regarding your mum's time on Balgonie Ward.

As therapy manager I will ensure this is passed onto them alongside the other members of the team.

I am pleased to hear that you mum had such a positive experience and I wish her all the best in her continued recovery at home.

Kind regards

Nicole
