We received a cancellation for the feeding clinic and after changing our plans and travelling for 45 minutes, we turned up to be told we could not be seen by the lactation consultant. We were provided with a data form, however most of the information was irrelevant as it was our second child and we needed the assessment for tongue tie rather than advice for breastfeeding. After our daughter was born with jaundice and had undergone multiple rounds of light therapy, this was the last inconvenience we needed when all we required was the assessment.
