"Exceptional care"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / General Medicine (Wards 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 18 & 27) Royal Alexandra Hospital / General Surgery (wards 19, 20, 24, 26 &29)

(as the patient),

I was admitted to ward 10 for around a month, the care I received was second to none, the whole team treated me with empathy and compassion in what was the most frightening time.

They really did go above and beyond, ward 10 is an absolute credit to the NHS. From the few names I can remember Olivia, Charlotte, Lori, Holly, Taylor and I think Neve, care was exceptional and made my stay that little less scary.

I also spent a few days in surgical receiving where the care I received was also exceptional and Student nurse shelly deserves a special mention she will make a fantastic nurse and will be a real credit to the NHS.

Dear tangosq49

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words about your recent experience on Ward 10 and in the Surgical Receiving Unit. We are truly heartened to hear that the care you received made such a positive difference during what must have been a very difficult and frightening time.

It’s wonderful to know that the team treated you with empathy and compassion throughout your stay. Your special mentions of Olivia, Charlotte, Lori, Holly, Taylor, Neve, and Student Nurse Shelly will mean a great deal to them and the wider team. We will make sure your comments are passed on to each of them—they will be absolutely delighted to know they helped make your experience a little easier.

We are extremely proud of our staff, and feedback like yours is a powerful reminder of the impact that kind, professional care can have on our patients. Thank you again for your thoughtful message, and we wish you all the very best in your continued recovery.

Kind regards

Kevin
