"Delay on appointment information"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I received a request to attend an appointment 7 days before but no details what is was for. I called the booking line and was told it was Joint School. On the morning of the appointment 7 days later my letter arrived, which said I could take someone. However it was then too late for me to arrange this so had to go on my own. I was not expecting to be able to take anyone as all other appointments you were asked to be on your own.

That being said the actual joint school was informative, well structured and covered many areas of the elected surgery, before, during and after.
