I would like to take this opportunity to commend a particular staff nurse, Prajitha, who cared for my mum during her recent stay in Antrim Area Hospital, part of the Northern Trust. My mum was admitted for a sizeable operation and was held in Ward C1 throughout the week.
The care she received from this nurse was nothing short of exemplary. She consistently demonstrated the highest standards of nursing — with excellence evident in everything she did. Her bedside manner was exceptional, marked by kindness, attentiveness, and deep respect.
What stood out most was the way my mum genuinely felt not only her care, but her love and wholehearted support from start to finish. It made a significant difference to both my mum’s recovery and our family’s peace of mind during a very vulnerable time.
This nurse is a credit to her profession and to the Northern Trust. I would be grateful to see her recognised publicly for her outstanding service.
