Following a fall my wife was initially admitted to Ninewells Hospital and then transferred to Arbroath infirmary for rehabilitation.
Sadly due to considerable fractures of her back she was in considerable pain and found mobilising too difficult. During her stay the care and attention which she and all our family members were given from all of the staff was absolutely outstanding.
My wife couldn’t cope with the pain, and sadly passed away. My family and I were grateful to have been able to spend the last two weeks of her life together in a private room. Staff were so kind and provided much needed comfort and support at a time when our lives were being turned upside down.
We are so grateful for that. We would like to thank staff for all they did.
